Blinding White

Snow crunched under

My soggy sneakers

Clouds covered the

Pale white Sun

And dilapidated snowmen lay

In half-melted piles

In front yards.

I stumbled down

The middle of the street

Feeling like a polar bear

In the depleting ice caps

Of the barren Arctic

Struggling to find firm ground.
